after reinstalling the battery after charging i have diag 0 signal on my left clock and can not do anything.
advice on this would be gratefully received

I think it might be that your odo computer thing has reset. If it doesn't tell you in the owners manual what that error message means, then you'll have to call an Aprilia dealer. Sorry.

I don't think we have any Mille owners on here, and the Tuneboy diagnostic software that I have only works on Triumphs and Aprilia Futuras.

Someone might know, but I don't *think* we can be of much help.

No mention of a DIAG 0 in the service manual, see attachments.

It sounds like you connected the diagnostic bullet connector. It looks like they should be connected but in normal operation they are not.

By plugging them together, you have entered diagnostic mode.

Try asking on https://www.rsvr.net

As the site name suggests it's all about RSV's with a big user database with owners worldwide using it, though it's based in the UK.
