I'd say keep the Midlands one, the Racing one and the Midlands one.

They are the only ones which actually get used. Until there is a sizable number of threads for stuff happening in an area then just keep it in outing and excursions. Penny Coin Penny Coin

Personally, I don't see any need for em, everything that is said on them can easily be discussed on the forum, and it's nice to see what people around the country are up to then it gives non-local people a chance to join in if they are in the area or want to travel up etc etc rather then keeping every event hidden away from people that may be interested but just aren't aware that the subject is being talked about on a private forum!?

Just my 2p worth too!

Just to add to my earlier post, if lots of things are going on in a certain area, keep that forum, but just don't make it private??

The racing usergroup is useful, cos no one else cares about when van x is leaving house y and so on.

Festivals one is useful as it makes it safer for posting up contact details and all the general crap and stuff to do with RNB/BDB.

The Midlands usergroup actually gets used to organise stuff.

Boxhill is not used... just chuck all the threads in outings and excursions and we can use that Smile

Northerns might want a usergroup, but why? Confused

Agree with Rob really. I don't think the userbase of the site is big enough that specific groups are needed for most things. Especially now we have the calendar which links to a related thread containing more info about the 'event'.

Racing group, festivals group - yes, they're handy for organising logistics and should probably stay. Stuff like Boxhill's pointless - just do it in O&E.

Old Thread Alert!
