Hi there,

I have recently purchased an H plate Suzuki GP100 having not been on a bike for years. Initially I found it hard trying to select Neutral (Could be Me and NOT the bike) but now when pulling away from lights or a Junction when I try to select 2nd gear passing through Neutral from 1st I really have to give it a good flick of the foot it's certainly NOT a smooth action all other gears are fine, I have adjusted the clutch cable (Took out the slack) but still have the problem. Is this an easy fix? is the gear thingy bent? (Technical Term)

Any solutions would be welcome

I would definitley start with an oil change, as this happened to mine when it had been stood for a good 4 months over winter and fuel had leaked into the bottom of the engine

Failing that, check your clutch, failing that I would grab a haynes manual and start stripping her down.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up Very Happy
