Hey guys just a quick one really,

My CBR600F's battery is worse for wear and I have a new one to replace it with. Now just before I go ahead and bollocks up my transport by being a noob, have I got this method correct?

Disarm alarm
Remove alarm fuse
Remove battery terminals then battery
Fit new battery
Refit terminals
Refit fuse

I think that is how I used to do it at the bike shop but not 100%, reason I ask is because it seems these alarms are prone to "Spiking" which pisses the alarm up the wall and makes you're bike goosed.

Thanks!

Don't you put the alarm in service mode?

Ah yes, that was it then. It's been a long time since I've had the displeasure of dealing with alarm systems. Thanks to you and Oldie.
