Hi am just wondering my bike has been stoen and recovered and the thiefs scratched the frame number off,was just wondering if i stamp over the letters myself with a stamp kit will that pass the MOT ,or would i be able to stamp the number onto some alluminium and rivet it to the frame to create my own VIN plate???

You cant just change the vin numbers im pretty sure if the vin numbers are fucked the bike aint worth shit..

but if you have the dvla registration paper work there might be some way of prooving the bike is yours!

But seeing as you joined the forum at some point last night and one of your first posts is about how to change vin numbers not many people will be willing to help.
