headlight!

Hi
My headlight bulb has gone on my little ybr 125. Is it legal to ride without it? Also, Will I be able to replace it myself or is it a garage job (bearing in mind I have zero mechanical/bike knowledge!)

It will be legal to ride without it at night, Your should be able to do it yourself, have a look in the manual.

Chances are if you go to a bike garage and flash you lashes you may get it done from free.

I believe Halfords will fit bulbs bought there for free/a small charge.

Easy to replace - get one of these halogen bulbs:

Not sure about the YBR, but most round headlights have one or two philips screws that hold the rim onto the bowl. These are usualy suituated underneath the headlight on the rim at 4 'O' Clock and 8 'O' Clock positions. Undo them then the rim comes away with the bulb still in it. Remove the bulb, get yerself to the local auto shop and find one the same. If it's Halogen, don't touch the glass with your fingers. Good luck

The stock YBR bulb is a crap globe type krypton job, definitely worth replacing with that halogen one - same fitment and wattage - push and twist Bosch BA20d, and give it a wipe with some kitchen towel dipped in meths if you touch it.
