Well looks like my 8 year old vintage hein gericke cheapo charger has bitten the dust.
So whats good out there? and anyone know of any deals?

Me too, got a Halford's bike charger when i got my new battery having always borrowed them from people before. Did the job fine and was quite cheap Thumbs Up

I have used a cheapo Wilko car one on the bike and it was okay, just for charging.

But, I now prefer my Optimate. You can plug it in over winter and it just keeps the battery in tip top condition.
