So this morning I was on my way to meet some friends for a ride, when I ended up putting a couple of scuffs in a yaris and cracking my minimal fairing. I'm not hurt in any way, I'm not going to develop any whiplash, it was only around 15 mph. I ride a loud CB1100SF x11, with headlight on all the time and bright blue leathers.

A roundabout I know well

I was coming from the position of the google earth, going to the second exit straight across. There was a queue of cars on the left turning into the first exit, so I filtered down to the front, and set off in the rhs(middle) lane, then went to move to the lhs(left) lane after clearing the traffic. I did a lifesaver and turned my indicator on left, and then a yaris (indicating left) came off the traffic and moved up the inside of me, causing me to go into the offside front wing and dropping the bike (all 250 kg of it on my calf! Pain!) where it slid for maybe 3ft. My head didn't even touch the floor, it was no more painful than falling off a chair, no scuffs on my recently purchased A* leathers. I was going to take 1930's advice of laying in the road until an ambulance turns up, until a following car went around me at some speed with about a foot to spare. I wanted the vehicles left for pictures, but a fella picked up (and then dropped!) my bike and got it onto the central seperator, and the girl moved her car. Ah well. Police turned up breathalised etc all good. I have a bit of calf pain, but it's just a bruise.

I'm the blue line, green are other cars, red is her yaris.
I'm not sure I'm in the right, or in the wrong. Theres a bit of damage to my bike in scratches and that (it would probably be written off I feel, from exhaust, fairing, footpegs, asvs, and timing cover scratched) but I'm not overly fussed, it's about 70 quid for a new fairing set and I can get the rest of it from other bits and bobs I have laying around. Her car wasn't dented, only scuffed from my fairing panel.

Pics to follow when I can find my camera.

Looking at the maps...
6 of one half a dozen of the other.

As there are 2 lanes comming upto the roundabout. That gives you one for left and straight on and one for straight on and right.
But each turn off only has one real lane.
In your case as you were in the rhl, I would have stayed in that and just peeled off and stuck to the off side of the turnoff. Not changed lane mid roundabout.
As you found out, that is just asking to hit someone who was quick off the mark.
