Hi all. As you are a resourceful lot, I thought I'd try here. I've picked up a Bagster tank bag for a ZZR600 I'm renovating. Its been resprayed in a tasteful Honda mettalic blue, the nearest Kawasaki blue from Bagster is a little lighter in colour. It looks alright, but I'm being purist about this one as it might be a keeper. Has anyone dyed a Bagster, or any leather for that matter? What is the process / cost. Is there any kind of place that might do this professionally?
Looked on the tinternet and there are kits for doing this, full of self praise for how easy it is...... but I'd rather hear from someone whose actually done such a thing.

Cheers

I used a bottle of Dylon Leather Shoe Dye to darken the brown of a tan bag and colour the white stitching and it worked real well. I also managed to spatter it over a brandnew white cotton shirt and it never washed out. Good stuff, it went on with a swab thingy.
