I've snapped my brake lever several times since I've had my bike Laughing
But something has just occurred to me. About two months ago, I was going down an NSL road at about 60 when a rabbit ran across me. I jumped on my front brake, pulling it quite hard. I didn't have an issue with the braking, as I managed to slow down enough for it to get passed without going under my wheel, but immediately after my brake lever was really hard to pull in.

Two weeks after that I came off it again, and broke the brake lever. I was able to drive up to a bike shop and get a replacement, that I fitted there and then and though I never realised at the time, it resolved my stuff brake issue.

It's been fine until yesterday. The day before I took the lever off because my brake light was sticking, but since putting it on it's been very hard to pull again, practically touching the brake is slowing me down, and it's just not coming towards the throttle grip easily.

My question is : Is it possible to fit the brake lever incorrectly? It's just a little pad on the side of the brake switch that gets pressed in when you pull the brake. I'm thinking it may be getting caught around the edge and stopping the lever from moving fluidly.

The thing is, I've got my Mod 2 retake tomorrow and REALLY don't want to mess with it (again). So I don't want to take it off unless it's likely to be a problem. Any Advice?

Thanks

Anthony
