Black Mirror series 5.

3 episodes. First one 'Fighting Vipers' is rubbish. The 2nd episode 'Smithereen' is superb. The 3rd I hae not watched yet.

Happy an American show. Showed up on Netflix today, something about a Police detective that after a heart attack sees a blue cartoon Unicorn that tells him to do stuff and gives him advice. Seems Interesting. Might binge watch this later.

Chernobyl.

2 episodes in and I'm loving it, It's an insight to what went on in a time when secrets were, well secret! Harrowing already and I am disappointed I could not watch more today.

FTFY.

Don't take me wrong, it's a great show. 9/10, easily.

Happy! is properly good (imho). I blasted through all of the episodes in 2 days, and I've got the second series queued for a 9 hour flight I've got coming up. Just insane, mental, really funny weirdness. Watch the first 3 minutes to see if it is for you.

I've just finished watching Good Girls on Netflix - three women, all struggling, decide to rob a supermarket so they can clear their debts, but end up working for / with a local gang. Again, the second series has just come out, and I've got that queued for hols.

Bad Blood - Kim Coates (SoA, Goon) is a henchman in a canadian mafia outfit. Sounded like it could be cheesy, but I really enjoyed it. Another one where there is a second series waiting.

I've also got Miracle Workers and Good Omens ready to watch - can anyone recommend these?

I also have watched two episodes, pacing it out as there's only five episodes in total.
Can't wait for Chernobyl 2, international fallout.

I think statistically*, nuke power plants have killed more people than nuclear weapons.
And China China China wanted to build some more over here Thinking

I don't think there have been any nuclear related fatalities in the UK.

I don't even need to look up specific ones to say that this is extraordinarily unlikely to be true.

I have now watched all of Killing Eve Season 2 and am very cross with Villanelle.

Still, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.
She is currently battling with Alice from Luther for the pole position of my favourite fictional serial killerette.

Now I've finished that, I am ready to consider Chernobyl, seeing as how you lot are recommending it so much, although I've almost had my fill of Russian accents for the moment.

There's no Russian accents in Chernobyl.
It's like The Death of Stalin with less comedy and more suntan.

What we do in the shadows.
Crazy vampiric hi-jinks following some Vampires sharing a house together in Statten Island New York. Matt Berry plays one of them so if you like him you'd like this.

Hilarious and there's going to be a season 2. Series 1 is currently on BBC Iplayer.

You would think with all the Eastern Europeans over here these days they could have found some who can act.

I love Black Mirror but I think Series 5 has been a bit disappointing Sad

Anyone new to it i'd suggest watching:
S3 E01 - Nosedive
S3 E04 - San Junipero

San Junipero has a real twist in it, takes ages to work out what's going on. Nosedive really does come across as what might happen in the near future, where your social status is linked to how well you're 'liked' on something like Facebook. Apparently something like this is already developing in China China China.

Apologies, I've been away for a week, and it's hard to keep up with the latest stories of appalling human rights abuse going on there.
That.
Hong Kong.
Muslim Children Separated from their parents and put in education camps taught to love Communism.

But is OK, cos like big trading partner innit.

watched all of Chernobyl in a couple of nights, it was very good.

Fear the Walking Dead, I'd lamented in the past that I couldn't get into it, but Series 3 was better, Series 4 was great. Watched it all in three days, really liked it, despite the slightly weak villain.

I'm going with Good Omens for now, cos it is slightly quirky and funny.

And has some very nice use of Queen in the soundtrack (particularly "I'm in love with my car" which is one of my alltime favourite Queen tracks Wub )

... and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse on some nice bikes.

Oh. And David Tennant Wub
And Josie Lawrence Wub Wub who you hardly ever see these days but who I have always thought was brilliant.

Should have been some other bikers too, but they binned that bit. On the whole not a bad rendition of the boo, so musn't grumble.
