Roadkill, on BBC iPlayer, with Hugh Laurie as a not really very nice politician.

Excellent.

I've never read Terry Pratchetts final Discworld novel. That way, I've always got one more Discworld novel to read. Confused

I am watching Walking Dead World Beyond. I am on Episode 1 series 1.

Terry Pratchet, just a second rate writer attempting to ape Douglas Adams.

Queens Gambit on Netflix, is surprisingly good.

In a world of Chess Grandmastery, they manage to sneak in a fair bit of sex, drugs and rock n roll.

On a more serious note though, it's a well written and superbly acted mini-series that doesn't have anything to bore you into not watching more, including the Chess.

I highly recommend Chernobyl.

It's pretty dark, obviously, but produced by HBO and quite thrilling in some ways. Makes one realize how little we actually know about this desaster.

Google:
Windscale fire 1957 (UK) - Brave people, very luckly outcome.
Kyshtym disaster 1957 (USSR) - Top secret operation. Very, very bad outcome, no clean up till this day. Way worse than Chernobyl.
Jaslovske Bohunice accidents 1976 and 1986 (Czechoslovakia) - Could have been another Chernobyl right in the center of the Europe. The outcome of these two accidends was pure luck and bravery of the operators.

And there sure is much more we don't even know about yet.

Gillian Anderson as Mrs Thatcher is really good.

Netflix - Transformers War For Cybertron. Really good, for those that remember the series from back in the day, this is even better.

The Ranch - 8/10 (Netflix)

Great chemistry between the actors, good jokes, funny situations, Elisha Cuthbert. Smile

Netflix - Alice in Borderland 9.5/10

Set in Tokyo, dubbed spoken language with subtitles for the written bits.
3 friends appear in an alternate Tokyo universe and have to compete in violent random games to survive. Quite gory, quite pumped, think SAW but more interesting.

First episode is a bit meh, 2nd however; is brilliant and it keeps getting better. Binge the boxset over Christmas.

Trailer. The trailer would have you believe Japanese is spoken throughout, it's actually dubbed. Subtitles for translating on screen text only.

The Stand
Stephen King adaptation. Quite current as its basic premise is a story of survival after a pandemic has killed 99% of the worlds population. Only one episode available so far and its OK. Its on Starzplay.

You might like Tokyo Vampire Hotel. Insanity in the way only the Japanese can do. It's on Amazon Prime.

Ok will check that out. Thank you.

In the meantime I can highly recommend Mr Inbetween. 9/10.

Watched both series over a 2 day span. Australian 40 something killer for hire 'Ray'; and all the escapades and fun you can have in 24 minutes per episode. Worthy of a watch or 3. Series 3 out this year sometime.

For some reason I keep watching Upstart Crow even though it's not very good.

Also started watching Deadbeat on Amazon, its a comedy about a hapless psychic.

Rooms, on Talking Pictures channel 81 free view, a drama series from the seventies following the lives of people living in bedsitland. It reminds me of my first place away from home. This has to be one of the most depressing things ever on television. It thoroughly puts to rest any idiot fantasy that there was anything worthy of retro vintage cool. Go on treat yourself to some real misery from the comfort of your modern lock down home. The next episode is on at 17:30.
