Because you've watched the first few, and they are pretty poor in comparison to the later stages and because your suggestions, show you like the genre. It really is the best of that genre by a huge distance.

I watched a good few of the later ones - certainly into S2 a bit and thought it got worse and worse - too much personal interplay, back stabbing and eastenders, too little spaceships and explosions.

Sunk costs, I walked away.

What exactly gets better? It would need a Total Party Kill to make me care.

Oh, also; I quite liked "Stan Lee's Lucky Man" - bit more gritty British style.

And of course there's "The Man in the high castle", which didn't really hold up to the book I felt.

Into the Badlands was also watchable and done nicely enough. (Warlord based dystopia.)

Didn't make it to the end of episode one. Way too much "We must free Murca to be free like the freedoms of our free Murcan fathers. Also, justice. And freedom." Sick

It didn't get massively better, to be honest.

I've started watching the C4 'on-line' (Free) box sets.
Some of the 'world drama' ones are good (and some are crap) but if I'm tired then I can't keep up with the sub-titles Laughing

Kabul Kitchen (French) was very funny.
Invisibles (Czech) was quite funny (great idea but the humour was a little childish at times).
The out-laws (Belgian) isn't finished but quite funny.
Some of the thriller/drama ones are OK but not 'breaking bad' engrossing.

Oh, Netflix, how I love you. Narcos, season 2 just dropped today.

Pablo Escobar drug lord dramamentary. Season 1 was ace. Much of the interpersonal stuff is necessarily speculative and they dick around with names, dates, details, accents, but the basic narrative and big historical events largely agree with Wikipedia. Some of it you think "Nah, surely they must have made that up. Nobody would really do... [Googles] huh, OK then, wow."

Like Game of Thrones in Spanish, with fewer dragons but more hookers and blow.

Started watching game of thrones on Monday... I'm already half way through series 4 Shocked No one told me there was so much sex and violence in it, otherwise I would have started watching a lot sooner Smile

Mr. Robot series 2's a bit meh, really liked series 1.

Mad dogs (the US ver.) was good.

Waiting for more of the zombie stuff, walking dead, fear the walking dead, and z nation.

Yeah, makes you wonder the angle they will use. I think Freddy and the cops/laywer should just be central characters around a new court case.

I really loved the depth of character in this series, they even gave the lawyer foot rot and you empathised with him. That kinda shit goes a long way.

I also would never admit to it in the real world but I almost got a tear when the lawyers said they would take the case pro bono.

Oh; Rush Hour.

Definitely not up to the level of the films (Got a feeling the first one film was better too) - cancelled after first series.

Still, I found it watchable enough.

Finished 'Stranger Things' last night, a Netflix series.

It seemed like an amalgamation of ET, The X-Files and I'm sure there were loads of Star Wars references.

A bit weird but I thought it was pretty good.

Stranger things reminded me of when I was young.
I cant put my finger on it, but it was as if the whole thing had been written and directed in the 80's.
That's not to say it was bad, hell, the 90's had Weird Science and The Goonies! I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it just seemed dated in idea and execution.

Did I mention that The Night Of, is awesome?

Power
Justified
Wentworth

All of them I thought were brilliant

Anyone watched Trailer Park Boys?

It drags on a bit towards the later series and it's very low brow but I preferred it to most other stuff out there.

Having just finished Narcos, I now know the only three words necessary for any conversation in Columbia: "Puta, rata, tranquilo."

Just watched episode 1 of Band of Brothers (mentioned on page 1) and thought David Schwimmer still looked really young... didn't realise its 15 years old Smile Seemed to remember bits of it so I might have seen it before, or maybe I'm getting confused with Saving Ryan's privates, either way it seemed a bit slow so I'm looking for something else.

Might give breaking bad another go, see if I can still fail to work out what everyone's going on about.

I've only just got onto this.

Have been watching Brass Eye again, again.

I think enough time has now past since the original series, that it must be time for a few new ones. Praying

How far would you have to go in order to satirise 2016 society and politics though? I honestly can't tell what's real any more. Tampons in men's bathrooms because "both sexes menstruate". Eh?

OT, my current guilty pleasure is Once Upon a Time, so... er... maybe I am manstruating. Thinking
