Loved Mongrels, Enjoyed Happy! bar the very end, the first episode is pretty close to the comic then it takes a few detours. [/img]

Fwiw it's worth I thought it was absolute shit. It starts well enough but then goes nowhere.

My life's complete now Smile I've got both series on DVD, I've watched them probably 3 times now. Just got another series on DVD:

https://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMjE5NzM3Mzc4MF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMTYwNjk5Mw@@._V1_UY268_CR3,0,182,268_AL_.jpg

I remember watching the film years ago and thinking it was brilliant (bought that on DVD as well), and was wondering why they never showed it again, probably cos it's a pokey British film and they can't risk going a week without having Iron Man on Rolling Eyes

Dexter

Something to watch before I go to bed during the work week. This is my very first time watching this, got throug the season 1, and I must say, it is good. Very good, to be honest. The black police detective that says ''feck'' a lot is hileriously ridiculous. Otherwise a solid 8/10 tv show with great narrative (reminded me of the game Max Payne).

You can also tell this show was made a few years before the PC and SJW crap. Which is always a good thing. I mean, imagine if they did Sopranos today. Confused

I used to watch it and enjoyed the show, but stopped when I heard they had commissioned 6 more series or something ridiculous. I don't remember it being un-PC and SJW triggering though Thinking

Mongrels was so funny! I actually went and bought that on DVD.

I have just finished all seven glorious series of Bake Off complete with Hollywood handshakes and soggy bottoms. So now I can plough through the rest of my Netflix list before demolishing my Amazon Prime list.

Started watching Suits. Looks okay so far, was worried the hotshot kid would be a Wesley Crusher/ Mary Sue type, but a few episode in and it looks okay.

Suits is shit. Starts okay, soon gets bogged down in repetitive narrative loops. Ooh will whatisname get discovered as not a real lawyer?!? Tune in next time.

Uhm no.

The IT Crowd.

Yeaaah, I can really see what they were trying to do there.

Not awful, but a bit too much padding and cringe.

Linehan of course casts some manky Mick, the totty isn't all that and only has "little girl / hoarse screech" voices and they couldn't write enough decent lines for Moss to rescue it.

In some scenes, monitors are clearly absent their cables, so it's not really for Our People.

It has its moments but I suspect a few moments are all that I'll remember. A couple of episodes into S2 and I think I'm done.

Wentworth is back on.
No idea what channel it's being shown on. Aussie tv I reckon.
Can watch previous seasons on Amazon if you haven't already.

Currently accessible via a torrent site, near you.

Dietland, right up BCF's strasse.

"The series explores a multitude of issues women face today -- including patriarchy, misogyny, rape culture and unrealistic beauty standards -- by following Plum Kettle's journey to self-awakening.

A ghostwriter for the editor of one of New York's hottest fashion magazines, Plum has waged a lifelong battle with her image. Fed up, she turns to weight-loss surgery but ends up in the middle of two rival feminist factions -- one that may be responsible for the attacks on male harassers, and the other that preaches female empowerment."

Actually it's really quite good

Into the Badlands was also watchable and done nicely enough. (Warlord based dystopia.)

Just starting into this now. Yeah, that's all right, that. Pretty decent wire-work and blade-fu. I guess there's a plot, but it seems to be just set-up for the next set piece fite, which is no bad thing. Stylish Shaolin-Deep-South setting, well choreographed and neatly edited, cracks along at a decent pace, quite tasty ginger ninja - no regrets so far.

Are you blind! Catherine Parkinson has it all going on. Shes a good actress as well and i felt sorry for her having to settle for a crummy supporting role in what was just a vehicle for Maggie Gylanhall in The Honerable Lady. (I think thats what it was called).

If you want something really grimm, try The Girlfriend Experience. Series 1 has an ambitious law graduate deviating from her corporate law career into corporate escort work. Series 2 and 3 follows two other experience girls. Its a bit wierd.

American comedy

ex football player omes home to help on family ranch but him and his brother spend more time getting pissed and chasing women

ashton kushter main star but not brillian in the roll
sam Elliot (wade garret roadhouse) plays the dad

halfway through three seasons at the mo and still get a chuckle but starting to get a bit repetitive now

Preacher season three has started on Amazon.

I'm half way through ep3 at the minute, but this is really good. Has deviated slightly from the comics, but still done very well.
