Yeah, that one made my eyes water given that I quite enjoy a bit of urethral interference myself.
Not that I can remember the last time I was indulged in that way.

I've somehow managed to embed myself into the centre of Downton Abbey Shocked
Never seen it before. Love it!
Laughing

I've seen one of the Downton daughters elsewhere in some mad Aussie miniseries about a crazy bitch snatching babies, excellent Shocked

Damn, you need rescuing fast, I suggest watching https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069198/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

Peter O`Tool as a crazed son in line to inherit his recently deceased fathers estate. Think Downton but on acid.

Also pencilled that in Cool Thumbs Up

I'm now into the last half of the final series (I think) of Downton Abbey.
It's certainly been an education.

How odd that I had imagined I would relate best to the Dowager Duchess but in fact I find the character of Lady Mary (the minxish eldest daughter) much more in alignment with my own personality Wub

I've been watching the Australian remake of Monkey, the mental '70s Japanese series about the monkey god who flew around on a cloud. The only problem with it is that they have gone all woke and have a woman pretending to be the monk, Tripitaka.

I was hoping to get people to bite about that but it appears it's a bit niche.

I tried getting into it but it just didn't stick. Maybe they're trying to suggest Tripitaka was a trans pinoneer?

In the original 70s version the monk was played by a woman.

Nah ... back then, such things weren't "a thing", at least ... not the way they are now... it was all a bit more glitzy: Quentin Crisp, Danny la Rue, Liberace - not much above the level of RuPaul.

Anyone else watching The Last of Us?

Strange to see a game that I've played through a few times so faithfully recreated on screen, and I must admit it has been really well done so far. Not a massive fan of the casting of Ellie, but everyone else has been spot on.

If anyone liked Stranger Things, then i think you'll also like DARK (currently showing on Nextflix)

It is German dubbed/subtitled, but if you can get over that, it really is a good watch

Similar in setup to Stranger Things (small rural town, Power Plant in the middle of a forest, bunch of kids etc), but revolving more around time travel than "the upsidedown"

I've started bingewatching "YOU"* on Netflix.

Fucking weirdos ... there's something wrong with every character from what I can see, and I'm only up to about episode 5 Laughing What is going on with the stepmother of the main character? Brick Wall ...something dwarvish about her, she looks pigeon-chested.

*(which I nearly got confused with "You People" which looks to be entirely not my sort of thing).

I'm watching Fera the walking dead season 7 and so far so good except for some reason they keep wandering around in fallout zones for no apparent reason when there are clearly areas outside of the zones.

Im going it doesn't degenerate into the endless heart-to-heart moments that it seems every series does these days. That really grinds my gears.

Aw, sorry I meant the stepmother of the main female character (Beck).

I'm deep into Season 2 now which is full of even more loopy people than Season 1.
I actually had to look up some of the slang that the 15 year old chick uses, fucking Gen Z Laughing

Brilliant recommedation, though - thanks Cool Thumbs Up
