Lost In Space - I quite fancy Molly, but I'm over 50 so it's allowed. You know you're getting on a bit when you visit Milf porn sites and all the women are younger than yourself....I digress. It passed a few hours, rates highly on the 'Meh' scale but you can't help yourself.

Now watching 'Happy!' - Stabler from SVU meets a blue unicorn. Much blood and attempted humour follows. I've no idea what it's about. Still watching.

Spent the last 2 days watching Happy! with my flatmate. We laughed like idiots. Proper funny shit at times. Full of violence. Who framed Roger Rabbit for the grown ups.

But they punked out on the budget, the writing and the cinematography. They put all the talent in front of the camera, but they needed more writers at the table, more pedants in the editing booth, and more shitlords calling for another take.

C+, Krysten Ritter's nostrils deserve better.

You're absolutely right. No one on-screen did anything wrong, as such, there just wasn't enough of anything. Not enough plot, not enough characterisation, not enough provocation of thought... it was all a bit flaccid.

Yes. This I enjoyed. Except for the gaping, and I mean GAPING, plot hole regarding Happy's ability to find one person but not another...

Wolf Creek. Confused

First episode was pretty good. Bit anti-climax since. Nice touch to have the star of the films playing the baddie too.

I saw Happy! advertised on Netflix last night and was going to ask if anyone had seen it. Seems to be slightly mixed reviews but the trailer looked interesting enough to merit a watch.

Last Night I finished a binge on Star Trek TNG, I recently ripped all 7 seasons so I've been watching random episodes from each season.

Now Back to Space 1999, my latest rip.

Space 1999 is shit. Both series. So, so bad. I say this as someone who'll watch almost anything sci-fi.

If you haven't already, just watch Firefly.

I loved Firefly yet it got binned by the network. Ludicrous when you see some of the shite that's in it's 2nd/3rd/4th series. Evil or Very Mad

Friday Night Dinner ... post-Inbetweeners* vehicle for the goofy Jewish narrator.

It's pleasant enough: two brothers go home on Friday nights for dysfunctional Jewish dinner with parents, with occasional grandmothers for plot extension/development. Tedious Neighbour pops in every day. Alright for typical humour of that genre if you're bored and between binges of more interesting things.

*(I don't know which Inbetweener is which: I just know them as the gobby one, the anxious Jewish one, the lanky one, one's called Simon but I have no idea who Laughing ).

I found it very meh and I'm surprised it's still going TBH. Out of the post-Inbetweeners stuff; Zapped, White Gold, Fresh Meat the latter was the only one I liked, although I don't think I've actually watched Zapped it looks that bad from the adverts (maybe 5 mins tops) Smile

I've found them to be all pretty samey.
The only reason I really watched Inbetweeners was Greg what's his name, big fella, one of the teachers 😍

Once Upon a Time 3/10

This has 7 series and is still running. Created by the guys that made Lost. You can tellit was made by them, there are so many different story lines that you just get Lost.

I watched it to series 4 and just couldn't subject myself to anymore. It started off ok'ish. It's just badly made. Very shitty script writing, the dialogue is just clunky and unbelievable, and acting is poor.

The only saving grace is Little Red Riding Hood ....

I started watching it at about 7.30pm last night. I've just finished ep 6. I love it. It is the right mix of funny, dark and ultraviolent. I had to check that the main character wasn't being played by Trevor from GTA5 Smile

Love it and can't wait for season 2.

I've just finished watching all three seasons of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Started a bit ropey, but has gotten better as it has gone on.

Sort of on topic Shifty has anyone been watching the 20th anniversary episodes of who wants to be a millionaire (hosted by Clarkson)? It's brilliant, Clarkson's a million times more entertaining than that tw@ Tarrant, and people really are thick as $hit these days.

Tonight an Oxford student went home with only a grand (he didn't know a question about Thunderbirds Folded arms), as did a teacher who didn't know her periodic table. The best one from a few nights ago was when Clarkson talked a copper out of the correct answer Thumbs Up

The first 2 episodes are intense genius.

After that, you can stick with it, I guess.

Just be aware that it's all there up front.

I thought the first episode was naff enough not to bother with the rest, and I normally give anything a chance.
