It's got no bands on the end, does this matter?

Should just rivet back into place?

Can't see why not.....my mate had a Viper can on his VFR800 that he just stubbied.

Yes you can very easily. Be careful though and don't go to short as they chode very easily and look stupid!

Chop it down in stages so you can see it at several lengths, 10 inches is a bit chode Laughing Laughing Laughing to my mind and looks like it would barely be the other side of the hanger.

I'd cut it so that there was the same amount of can either side of the hanger, any shorter will look a bit daft IMO.

Yeah I was thinking equal distance either side of the hanger, maybe one third tail side.

Not sure how my 10" measurement compares so will make a mark and see how it looks!

Will update the project thread with when done!
