Electric start problem

Just a quickie .. hopefully

When i start my Rieju RS2 on the button it works fine, but once the bike has been for a ride, and is warm, the engine wont start. THe starter motor turns and turns the engine over but it wont start, causes major embarrassment at petrol stations etc :L

Any ideas?

Could it be a sign or running lean or rich?
And when i first start the bike from cold, for the first few minutes and touch of the accelerator causes it to die.

Once you've run the bike, and then left it to cool down does it start again ok?

Yes, if ive ridden it for a while and i turn it off, if i immediately try and start it it just turns and turns. If its been left for a little while then it will start easily on the button. And if its been left for a long time (i.e cold) it will always need the choke, and then it starts.

Usually in the mornings, after its been left for quite a while, after i start it any touch of the accelerator and it just dies, feels like fuel starvation but i dont know how it can be that.

Next time this happens, whip out the spark plug......is it wet? If so, dry it off, and try it again....could be running rich.

The starting hot thing has been pissing me off for a wile now and I have just fixed it.
I took off the spark plug cap and trimmed the ht lead 1/4inc and refitted and I adjusted the idle speed about 1/8th faster and it has now gone fires up every time hot cold,
Which one fixed the fault i don’t know.

Also I tested my spark plug cap and it had no continuity or showing any resistance have a look at yours the cap can air bridge its self but mine should have 5ohs resistor it runs realy well but over time it will be a lot of work on the coil got a ngk off gaybay £2.75 new
