Dr125 suzuki wont idle steady

now looking at bike new battery fitted starts like a watch runs fine EXCEPT it wont idle steady revs hang high then when it does settle down low it just dies doiwn and cuts out i tried to turn the idle up but but then the revs just hand rather high ..... any ideas ?


Suzuki Dr125 of a mate is playing up . he just got off the phone wont pull of a up a hill needs help setting off on a flat after push . and down hill is fine .


So thinking carbs? as on the flat it apparently revs cleanly to th elimitter and cracks and pops and back fires .


new battery going on today in 1 hr or so as he had to use a jump start pack to start it . new plug and new battery today will post back latter .


any sugestions on what to check it is a w plated eletronic start bike .

Hi, did you change the plug?
Or clean the carb?
Has it made a difference?
