OK, I've been looking through all the posts for additions to my own knowlege base. I have been 'retired' for the last year so turned my hand to one of my skills that still has relevance in this modern world, fixing up old nails for resale. I get whatever is cheap enough to turn a proffit given my workshop limitations, and have managed to earn a little pin money on the side as well as thoroughly enjoying myself.
My thoughts are that there seems to be quite a number of other people on the forum with skills and workshop facilities offering help or even actual repair assistance. Would it be an idea to have a directory or register of people willing to offer these services with locactions and services offered. I, for instance, would be quite happy to give anything from advice to repair in the Manchester area but need people who can spray paint and fit tyres. Obviously these services would be at a far more reasonable cost than dealers charge. Any takers?
