Airoh helmet's any good?

Been hunting for a new helmet for a while now, since I was skint last month I've been looking around alot.

Sportsbikeshop.co.uk have 35% off Airoh lids so helmets previously out of my budget are looking good right now.

Airoh Dragon Star £160

May possibly spend the extra £100 for...
Airoh GP £260

I'd like to know what reputation Airoh have for safety & wind noise etc before hunting down a dealer to try them on. Very Happy

Looking at some of the Sharp test results, most of the Airoh helmets are piss fucking poor on side impact, and not brilliant on front of head

I wear my airoh motocross lid on the road. International riders wear them in motocross and I'm sure I've seen some road racers wearing them...

Can't be too bad.

I've used one on my motocrosser too and seems OK.

I've got an Airoh TR1. I really like it, although it is fairly noisy. In fact, it's probably noisier than my cheapo open-face lid, which I found pretty surprising. Then again, their other helmets might not be so bad, seeing as the TR1 isn't really a proper full-face (in reality it's an open face with a huge visor and a removable plastic chin-piece).
