I'm off to pick up my new bike in a couple of hours: Suzuki GS600E

Is the restriction just washer fitted into the carb? As I've asked a loc for a quote on how much to fit them and they said £90 for 2 hours work. Surely it won't take that long?

Anyway can anybody on here fit them or know a shop around the area that would do it cheaper than said above? I'm in Herrtfordshire. I'm able to get the washer off fleabay for around £30 just the fitting seems expensive

Many Thanks

Hi

Normally they are a washer between the carbs and the engine, sitting in the inlets rubbers.

Does mean taking the carbs of to fit which can be a pain on some bikes (and a doddle on others).

Some OE restrictors are replacement inlet rubbers with a web on them I think. These would take a bit longer to fit, but no idea if Suzuki supply this type.

All the best

Keith
