To be fair mate, I dont work on bikes that much...

Oil tank, to bolt and attach cables.. about 5 minutes.
Air box, the one on my CLR was a bugger and took 10 minutes inc connecting to carb.
Speedo, screws in again like 2 minutes
front and rear lights, by connected you mean unscrewed, installed and wired in, about 15 minutes, 20 if the fairings arent off.
Indicators, 2 wire solder, 5 minutes per indicator if you are being picky.

About 40 minutes, providing its all there ready.

Matt knows a lot about rebuilding them Laughing Wink Im not the most mechanically abled, but those are probably the "easier" jobs I could do... Genuinely wont take you too long mate. Thumbs Up

it may only be 40 mins work to people in the know, but im not a mechanic, or a bike specialist, and im not trying to be... i just want someone, i can pay to come and do these jobs, so i can get on with enjoying my bike..

im in the building trade, and i am sure there are jobs that would take me 30 mins that would take others who didnt know all day... thats why im employed to do the job i do, and i want to employ someone to do the job i dont want to do.

if it is easy, then someone can earn themselves some easy money, ive got the cash to pay..... if Matt can do it in 30 mins......... come and prove it, plymouth is only 100 miles away...... ill pay day rate for his 30 mins work...................................

If I were closer, id do it for very little.

Matt is a decent guy. This forum is quite quirky, if you cant handle little jokes like that then you need to GTFO fast. Go read some of the other threads, its all just banter. Dont take it seriously.

These jobs are quite simple, if you dont feel confident enough to do them at the moment make sure to watch whoever you get to do them. Its always worth learning this stuff, especially if you own a vintage two stroke!

I havent taken any offense to the comments........ banter is banter, but calling people a rapist and a black slave from where i am from is a bit more like fighting talk, its ok from behind your computer screen, but in the real world.. where i am based, you call someone a rapist or a black slave is gonna have serious repocussions.. maybe in cyber space this is all exceptable, but in the real world its far from it...

you wouldnt call someone who asked you a question at work a black slave or a rapist.......... so whats the difference??

All i want is for someone to do a few jobs on my bike!!!!.... im not asking for a freebie.... this is a job for cash,

in the world i live in, people employ me to do a job, i dont question if its easy or not, i give them a quote and we go from there

What he said - I'm in Swindon, not a full time bike mechanic (I'm a weapons fitter) but regularly work on my own and other people's bikes.

couple of days?! Shocked

As for being able to rake in the money if you could do all that in half an hour, most garages would charge you an hours labour to do that (40 quid) of which the mechanic might see about 8 if he's lucky. Thought hat sounds like the sort of job you'd give to the work expirence boy.

Why not do it yourself and gain some expirence? I'm sure people on here would be happy to help talk you through things.
