I don't trust you... Not 1 bit... I never have... I am sorry its just the way I feel... I know you wont lie to me... Yes I know that... I also know we have been together for over 10,000 miles now... A year and a half is a long time to be together... NO! I am not seeing another bike... I am sorry.. I just don't trust you...

I know, I know, your always there for me. You always shine brightly with your happy little green face every time I turn the key... But no... I am sorry... I just don't trust you...

I know I have no reason to distrust you... You have never let me down in the past... You soldier on despite all the times I ignore... Come rain, snow, hell and high water, you do always work...

Little Neutral light I do love you, honest, like I love the rest of my bike. But every time I push the ignition button I will pull the clutch right in like I am going to die if I don't.. I will hold the front brake and slowly let the clutch out through fear of the bike jumping forward and ignore your happy message that the bike is in neutral..

I guess I am just paranoid... Sorry little neutral light... I do love you... But I don't think I can ever bring myself to trust you..

If it makes you feel any better little neutral light I also don't trust that line down the middle of the middle lane of the A40 and A406.. I am utterly convinced that bastard is trying to kill me when ever I have to use the middle line...

Why not just rock the bike before you start it. If it moves freely it's in neutral.....

Done that before. Pull up outside of super market, into neutral, release clutch, instantly green light off and bike jumps forward before stalling. Give yourself a minute to restart the old heart and then get off pretending you ment to do that. Thumbs Up Laughing

Thank you sidestand, and thank you Ducati for not putting that stupid sidestand that flicks up by itself on my bike.

Never trust it.

You don't want a spring loaded side stand. They usually flick up when the bike's on the bke stand smashing your nice carbon fibre fairings in the process. Wink

Hence my thanks for one not being fitted, good idea in theory, but utterly stupid in practice

I was always told that when the little green light that says "N" on it is lit it only means one thing.

That the little green light that says N on it works. Thumbs Up

My little green N likes to play Hide and Seek apparently.
I'll stick the bike in Neutral when at traffic lights, then tap the gear lever down into first just before I'm about to go. Mr Green does his disappearing act, apply throttle, release clutch... why the fudge am I not moving? ... Oh look it's my little green Neutral light, come back to play Evil or Very Mad

I only got my first motorcycle yesterday (loving every second of it Very Happy)

So I pulled up at a set of traffic lights, Put it in neutral, let the clutch out and it stalled Shocked , as I'm doing this the lights changed and I'm sat there like oh crap oh crap oh crap. I quickly started it up and clicked it into first and set off. That was the first time I had stalled it so it was scary as hell!

This is why I ride a bike with no idiot lights.

Nothing to dis-trust then.
