2005 Yamaha Fazer 1000 - Reduced

2005 Yamaha Fazer FZS1000, gunmetal colour with silver engine (photos to follow once it stops raining), 29k miles without missing a beat and I've seen Fazers with well over 100k on them. 12 months MOT, 6 months tax, almost standard bike with only an Acumen gear indicator, heated grips and Yamaha crash bungs added.

I bought this bike in 2008 with 5k miles on the clock, since then it's carried me to work for 3 years and me and the missus to the South of France, all without missing a beat. It really is the perfect all-rounder for me, more power than the muscle bikes with far better handling and loads less weight. 117bhp in standard trim, wihch this one is, and good enough handling to go scratching on a Sunday and surprise a few sports bikes. It has the 2000 carburated R1 engine, with way more comfort and practicality.

The bike is not perfect cosmetically, three winters have removed some of the engine paint but I have re-sprayed with high temp paint and it looks good. Apart from that it is in cracking condition and I'm gutted to be getting rid. The reason for that is I have a five day old daughter and we need two cars.
