Anyone heard of or used these for their tyres? https://www.oponeo.co.uk/

Looking at getting a new tyre and they seem quite a bit cheaper than elsewhere so it sets alarm bell ringing. The site looks OK mind so after some recommendations.

Cheers FS.

In a word, Nah.
You only have a tiny bit of area in contact between you and the road on a bike so i count it as very important. So unless it's got ideally bridgestone, or Pirelli, goodyear, dunlop, mitchelin or avon written on the side i'll give it a miss. I've had bikes with random name tyres on, but they were never as good as the real thing. On tyre i had was actually grey rather than black Shocked It'd corner like a motherfucker, but lock the second you applied any rear brake. I had kumho tyres put on my car once, they were alright, but then they weren't much cheaper either. Kinda like to tyres what hyundai are to cars?

Executive summary:
The £10 you save on the front tyre will be small change compared to the damage getting a shit one might incur.

Lol at Frost. Laughing

I have ordered from them before and they delivered what they said they would and fast. They are a polish company that are well respected over there.

Go for it. Thumbs Up

I have to wonder what rubber you use then......

Given the company supply just about every brand going including...

Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier
Metzeler Lasertec
Michelin PILOT
Pirelli Diablo

Which I now understand from you are tyre's that are useless and provide no grip......

Thanks for the advice Frost. All that typing as well. Laughing

Well I've ordered so I'll let you know. I don't know about other tyres but for my they were a tenner cheaper than the next cheapest online and also do free delivery.
