Do the torque figures have to be adhered to exactly. I think my torque wrench may be faulty. Can i do it 'by feel'.

Do it by feel, just nip it up, never had a problem with just doing that on mine. Just don't give it the extra bit a lot of people can't resist doing, you'll soon know if it's too slack if it leaks.

"Help i snapped my bolt" thread already happened in my garage! Hence i have a faulty torque wrench as i triple and quadruple checked my settings Shocked

Already sourced replacement banjo's and a pissing torque wrench that works and installed to the correct settings. Tar anyway Thumbs Up

So next you're going to say you torque up every nut and bolt you mess with then Rolling Eyes .

If it's got a torque on it I tend to yes. Especially with stuff like that. If it's too loose it'll leak, if it's too tight you can knacker the bolt or thread. Takes two seconds longer rather than the two grunts and it's tight approach.
