Am after a replacement manifold for a 1986 Yamaha FZ750. Struggling to find one on ebay. Will one off another bike fit ?

Hi

You will struggle. Later FZ one will probably fit but probably move the power round a bit (presume yours has a 4>2 exhaust).

Jama made stock type silencers but not sure if they made downpipes to suit.

The Micron systems if you find one will cause a big flat spot between 3k and 4k.

Mine has a Laser system on it that works very well. Not sure they are still made but if you can find one I would recommend it.

I would be inclined to suggest getting a copy made in stainless steel. I do have an original 4>2 to go onto mine which could be used as a pattern if needs be (although it is from a Japanese market model so not 100% sure it is full power).

All the best

Keith
