Righto. so my bike's MOT is up in 9 days.

The thing is, i've dropped it and smashed a fairing which is being repaired just now.... So i've stuck a headlight and the like on it for now, with mini indis and the speedo from my DT125.

The thing is, the milage on the original clocks is just under 7700, and the milage on the DT's speedo is at 29000.

So if i present it for MOT with the DT speedo on it with the higher milage, could i show them the CBR's clocks and ask them to stick that on the MOT rather than the much higher milage? or will i just have to wait till the fairing is repaired and put it all back together to put it through for it's MOT?

It won't be going through for another month anyway while i source a new sump, but I was just thinking about this.

Cheers

Hi

Put the broken clocks on for the MOT. Speedo not working is not an MOT failure point.

All the best

I think the fact it is a low mileage bike is completely irrelevant considering you've already ruined it Laughing

I'm repairing the fairing and sticking it back on, so it'll be back to it's former self soon enough Thumbs Up

I think i'll just wait till it's all finished and running again before i take it up then, just to keep the MOTs in line and make sure they don't fail me on any bodges they might find Laughing

This, I'd take it with it not working than wait.

Lose the animated avatar Madric, it makes my head hurt and they're banned anyway.
