FIrst of all, My CG125 needs a MOT, ANd there are a few things that i think will Fail.

MY brake light wirks fine with the front brake lever, But with the rear brake lever the light does not work, I've tried adjusting the switch thing, even pulling it manually, and nothing, WIll this fail a MOT?, and how can it be fixed?.

Second is my high beams, If i use the normal lights, then go to full beam, It just stays normal, Doesn't go to full nbeam, It did once while going through some lanes, then i hit a little bump and it went back to normal, Loose wireing?, ANd will this fail a MOT?

Also my front left fork is Leaking ever so slightly, to the point where it doesn't look like it's leaking, Just a TINY bit of fluid on the plastic cover after a ride, Fail?.

Thanks, Chris

All are fails. The fork could be an advisory.

Check the wires with a multimeter... Me being a bodge type of guy wired my front and rear brake switches together... with some green wire sitting in my dads garage.

The fork, just needs a new seal.

The HI/LO beams... check the actual button/switch you flick, unscrew it and clean up the insides, you might have a loose wire... OR you could have a crap bulb in there which is on its way out.

Could the rear brake switch be dead?, they'r eonly cheap, and apparently easy to replace, Might buy one and try it, i noticed the rear brake was being dodgey in the weeks comming up to the fail, Like turning on then off when you press it.

Is there more then one filament in the bulb?, for hi/lo beams?, If so maybe the high beam one has died?, Not sure how it all works

Start the headlight problem with removing the bulb and having a look at it/wires.

The brake switches.. I assume they attach the same way.. if you KNOW the front works, unscrew and attach to the rear brake switch wires...see if it works then. If it does, its the switch, if it doesnt..its the wires. Although if its anything like the CBR I have.. the rear switch goes straight to the rear light and the front one passes through it.

Check the switches anyway.

you mean take the Front switch, and attatch it to the rear?, No idea how to do that

---EDIT---

Also, I have new indicators on it, and the wires are long, so i wrapped them around the indicator, Will that be a MOT fail?

Front switch is sitting under the brake lever, more than likely held on with 1 screw. 2 wires attach it, they should just pull off, fairly easy.

Indicators.. no thats fine... could have just cut and made bullet connectors... but its not a fail.

to fix the fork leg.

get some absorbent rag., flannel.
cut a piece off so that you can rap it round the fork stanchion but yet fit under the dust seal..

next remove the dust seal with a screw driver or something.
lift the dust seal up, then slide the piece of rag down the stanchion.
wedge it in there with the screw driver.
fit the dust seal back on.

now your good for another 100miles!
i wouldn't advise this a a permanent fix, but it does work on weeping seals if your skint or many miles from home.
