Petrol tank clean

Hi All,

Got a bike that's been stood for a few years.

Some petrol left in the tank. It's a Yamaha Thundercat.

Just wandered if anyone could recomend the best way of cleaning it? Can you flush the tank with anything? Or just run fresh petrol through it? Unfortunately i'm not that mechanically minded and not had this problem before.

If there is no rust in it, drain out the old stuff, but acouple of pints of fresh petrol in and give a good shake, drain, refill and away you go.
If it has rust inside it you will need to sort it out.
