UPDATE: i passed Mod 2 today with only one minor. First time so think that makes up for the four attempts on Mod 1 Wink

Now it is time to go shopping Very Happy

Hey, just back from the test centre and despite torrential rain, I passed my Mod 1 today. Fourth time lucky for me but have come to the conclusion the rain helped me lol. Oh that and some swigs of Bachs Rescue Remedy to calm the nerves.

Only one minor, 49 for the speed avoidance but am cool with that as I hit 54 in the emergency stop.

I am proof that persistence and training pays off. Oh and a huge thanx to my instructor Rosie for believing in me Smile

Very Happy it sure is. I nearly hugged the examiner but I did do a girlie squeal and wee dance ( it so felt appropriate)

Am feeling confident about mod 2 as I have lots of road experience. And now with all the work on slow stuff I feel even more in control of the bike. I did a three day course in June and planned to do the mod1 and 2 back to back but the mod 1 fail put a wee spanner in the works lol. So going out on Saturday and will get a test date then. Apparently a shortage of instructors in Stirling is making it a tad difficult but hey ho. Can't wait, I wanna go bike shopping Surprised

Congrats!

You'll piss Mod2! I found it quite easy, I'd been riding on a CBT for eight months and then just did some training to tidy my riding up, you'll be on a big bike soon Smile
