Speedo flickering

Hi, My Cg125 that just got nicked & recovered is now up and starting again after replacing the ignition.

The only thing I can see thats wrong with it is that the speedo just bounces around and flickers up and down when moving...???

Anyone able to shed light? I really havnt got the money to take it to a shop for them to say "Your cable needs replacing"

check the cables not been bent/damaged and if the front wheel has been removed then the spacer/cog drive washer may be misaligned,failing that a little light oil in the cable,but let the oil drain down a bit before you drive it or it can rise up and gum up the speedo.
