How do you know the speed signs are correct?

because iv been past at least 5 different ones all with the same result, and also when im doing 36mph (on my speedo) im keeping up with the cars on a 30mph average speed camera road (so the cars are moree than likely doing 30mph exactly)

You'll find that most speedo's, especially scooter ones are out by at least a little bit. My Piaggio Zip's always over read and told me I was doing 50+ when I was really doing about 40-45.

They sometimes go about 10% over, just the way they are. I'm not sure how you'd calibrate it - but I guess you could just deduct 5mph in your mind? Smile

Hi

No real way to calibrate it as it stands. You could buy a speedo healer but not that cheap.

As an aside, do you have standard size tyres on the bike?

All the best

Keith

Speedo healer is the best way but I really would not bother, you could try a slightly bigger tyre.
