Posted up in the midlands section yesterday but it docent seem to get visited nowadays. Anyway does anyone off BCF head up to swancote on wednesday nights? Never been myself but thinking of heading up tonight on the bandit. Is it a good meet?

not been for a year or so, might consider going again but i'm busy the next two tuesdays.

I prefer it to bassetts pole as its a nicer ride to it, and more pleasant surroundings.

I like wandering around looking at the bikes while having a chat, but I'd never be someone who went every week.

I quite like quatt cafe as a mini meet in that you just go there before you have a rideout with someone, and you can have a coffee and nose around at peoples bikes before you go.

The other thing that puts me off about bike meets is the heavy police presence on the surrounding roads. I dont ride very fast these days, but in the past I got 6 points on a bike meet night because some copper got me. It should really have been 3 points but I didnt attend to the paperwork in time so it went to magistrates court.
