Having trouble getting the top bolt out of situ on my 900s, nut has been removed along with all lower bolts but top bolt appears to be corroded into place somehow.
Any suggestions on the best course of action? Was considering drilling the head off but if its still stuck after that the remainder will be left stuck in there.
Is there a decent penetrant I could maybe use to break down the assumed corrosion? I've sprayed it all with wd40.

Dribble some 'Plus-Gas' onto the area around the top mount, then, after a while, heat the locality with a blow torch, taking care to only heat sufficiently to not burn the paint.

If the corrosion is that bad you will most probably need to replace the top spherical bearing and bolt anyway.

Cheers I'll give that a try, its not very accessible though think the best could do is spray upwards from beneath the mount. I was amazed it wouldn't budge after all the hassle of getting the nut off.
Am looking to replace it with a fazer shock.
