I am so damned stoked it's unreal.
Been waiting over a month for my new provisional licence (had to get new as I'm diabetic) and it dropped through the door 20 minutes ago.
Booked my CBT and DAS for next Sunday 28/8/11.

Amazing timing as me and my mate are going to collect my new 650 Bandit this morning!!

I am so hyped ,you can probably imagine how huge a grin I have plastered on my mug atm Very Happy

Took a few photos of my new darling.....not sure if she's Bernadette Bandit or KateyKat.Maybe wait til I ride her a bit before I settle on a fitting name Wink

I'll upload the photos once my mate emails them to me and you can worship her sleek lines .....ignore the fat bastard with the proud, cheesy grin sitting on top of her, that's just me Razz

The dealer I bought it off had somehow added 500 miles to the clock since I put down my deposit which I felt a bit aggrieved about (not sure I had the right or not) after all it's not just 500 miles on the clock,it's 500 miles off the tyres.

Still I'm awfully chuffed with my purchase. Now to spend some cash on security chain, padlock and all weather protective clothing.

Only thing that pissed on my parade was that it has 11 months MOT but tax ran out end of last year and I can't get the tax without my insurance docs.
Contacted Bennets and tried to get fully comp but they were a bit reticent at first to insure me for it until I get my DAS passed but they eventually said ok.The next problem was the location of the storage garage....It's stored at my mates garage atm but when my neighbour comes back from Tenerife it'll be parked in her garage which is right next to my flat.
Bennets said if I got 2 weeks cover for my mates place and then swapped it to the other address there'd be a £50 administrative fee for changing the adress!!!!! So needless to say she was thanked and said goodbye to.

I have looked at them also. Can you let me know how it goes with them and what their facilities are like if you wouldn't mind?

I was going to question the wisdom of buying a bike before even doing a CBT, but you're clearly biker material. I bet you ace the tests first time. Wink

This aint my first time biking mate.....Had a C90,YB100,GPZ500,FJ1200 and a GPZ900R Ninja til the DVLA burnt my licence for being naughty in the late '80's Very Happy

Going to enrol at the gym on Monday, piled the damned weight on since I retired from the rat race and I'm sure riding will be a lot more fun if I lose about 2 stone.
