I wondered into this thread with trepidation of spoilers as I am aware the new season is airing in USA right now but I usually wait a month or so, so that I can spend a hungover saturday watching one after another. I think it's brilliant although I'm curious as to what direction it will take now, to the point I'm afraid it may have reached it's peak and could start to become silly but we shall see.

I saw adverts but never saw the program, looked good though. My dad was talking about it and the story sounds good, is the first series being repeated any time soon?

Ah yes i gobbled up season 1, well most of it but then hit the point of checking the calender on a regular basis waiting for new episodes. I too worried it had peaked during season 1, after season 1, after 2... especially after 2, and after 3.
Without giving anything away as expected the new season is back to how it's always been, routine stuff with something always building in the background. If i had to describe events so far in a single worth i think it would be 'Aftermath'

I think the acting is faultless, by everybody, if i met any of the cast i would think they were their character and that's really saying something given how much i loved Malcolm in the Middle!
It's not Game of Thrones writing kinda good, but then it's written for TV rather than adapted so it's full of visuals. To be honest i think Breaking Bad could have made one fucking amazing comic, though that would have been horrible as i'd have to listen to everyone talk about how the comic was better than the show

Anyway, i didn't think they'd get more than a season out of it. Now i'm going to be gripped all the way to the end of season 4. If they keep this up the show could have one hell of a long run. I know that sounds bad, like it'll become tired and old and be in need of killing off, but the ratings are only going up and the plot is only thickening. I like the way it's not afraid to take it's time over things, very refreshing compared to most current TV and i think a contrast that will likely get bigger rather than smaller.

Gonna give it a go, got the pilot to watch. Dexter is still my top TV show, it's not on though so could do with an alternative for those bored times.

It is a fantastic programme, I am not sure what is going to happen with the next season though, the first season was the best. real underdog small time feel to it the whole way through .

I just found out the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm has started to air as well. In the meantime I'll plow my way through season 7 of House. Gotta love it when quality viewing strings itself together like this, it helps me blank out all the Retard TV that swamps the airwaves.

Amazingly it has showed up on cable (FX I think). However the sun will become a White dwarf before season 4 reaches these shores.

Dexter is awful! At least after the 3rd season (Arthur Mitchell one). Before that it was my favorite show but now it's hard to watch. I also cannot bare the ultra bright contrasted vibrant colours.

The trailer for the last season made it seem like it was finally coming to an end, but i'm guessing the last season was the same crap & nothing came of it? It's a lot like Prison Break, Heroes & all the other shows that lose steam after having a great start. Hopefully Dexter at some point will be on the run & then i'll watch from the 4th season on, but for now it doesn't do it for me.

Breaking Bad on the other hand is amazing. Men Of A Certain Age is also fantastic, wasn't sure at first but it's a great blend of comedy/drama.

just watched the first episode of 4th season, damn good start i'd say. picks up well from the s3 finale.

So now I am nicely addicted to this and have caught up to the end of series 3, hod do I get hold of series 4? Will it be aired in the UK? or will I have to wait for it to finish in America then torrent it?

One and Two rocked. Season 3 just set up plot arcs. Same as True blood.

Now they have a set end date (season 5), they shouldn't jump the shark too much. Maybe.

Bet half way through Season 5 they'll shock announce another season by 'popular demand'. They have no concept of letting a season die.
