loss of power and clanking noise on Honda CG125

[MattBeard91]

I changed gear up in to 5th and my bike lost power and started making a kind of clanking noise..

It sounded like (not saying it was) gears not engaged properly..

Any ideas?

Cheers

You could be less cryptic.
Did it stop clanking when you changed down?
It does sound like a gearbox problem.

5th gear is usually useless on the cg

see if the chains in good condition and at the right tension,no big loss just don't use 5th again
