Can't work out what the noise is.

There's a timed chunk noise. Timed with 1 wheel rotation or the chain. I think it's the chain but I can't find out why. There's about an inch of free play which is recommended and I've gone over the chain, there isn't a split or crack.

When pushing the bike when the click is about to happen it feels harder to push for a second.

Will put up a video if I can find my phone cable..

Any ideas?

get the rear off the ground using a paddock stand or somthing to that effect - then check the chain tension all the way around the chain, if there is less chain tention in some points and more in others - you have atight spot.

if you have a tight spot, parrafin clean it to death and lub it all up after, if you still have the tight spot, time to get a new chain.

whats the sprocks looking like? are the teeth sharp or blunt looking

Also little update, cleaned it to it's bone today, only just got round to it. Lubed it up, took it out quickly, runs beautifully again.
