NS125RK's are VERY difficult to derestrict. They aren't at all like NSR125's.

I used to have one and they are nice bikes - generally you need to check things like chain, sprockets, fork seals, brakes and stuff like that being that the bike is old. I'm sure someone who lives a bit nearer can give you a hand Thumbs Up

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Hi

There is a copy of the NS125F workshop manual floating around scanned in.

Generally the easiest way to derestrict the old NS was to fit a Micron exhaust. The airbox is also quite restrictive. The original exhaust does work well if you can get the restrictors out, but that generally involves cutting the exhaust open, chopping them out and then welding it back together again. I think DEP used to make an aftermarket silencer for the NS that worked quite well with a gutted standard expansion chamber.

All the best

Keith
