Hey guys, just bought a suzuki sv650s 2007 model, my first proper bike after passing my test, but unlike my old 125 it doesnt have a centre stand, how should i adjust the chain?

Agreed. Although they recommend adjusting it with the wheel off the ground sometimes its impossible. Lack of centre stand, paddock stand etc prevents it. Nothing wrong with doing it on the side stand. just a half turn at a time and then check the tension.

Use it as an excuse to buy a paddock stand - very handy for cleaning the chain, over-winter storage etc.

paddock stands you can get from ebay for about 25 quid, a worth while investment.
