People.

Picking up my new bike on Tuesday and will be looking around the shop while I'm there for new lid and clothing (for riding, obviously!) and I wanted to know what the best sort of kit would be to get.

I know that leathers are the best thing, but with my shape I'm more likely to look like a fat elvis than anything else and I'm not sure that they'll fit me as well as I'd like.

I have a Spada jacket and lid at the minute which I got when I had my 125 a few years ago, but I reckon the lid needs updating as its got a few small marks around it.

I like the ease of the jacket, its got a liner for winter and it is easy and comfortable, so I'd like to get something similar, but advice on what would suit best will be gratefully appreciated.

I' 5' 10, and weigh about 17 stone, so I'm a reasonably big chap. Mainly around my waist and legs, which is why I'm not sure that leathers will be comfortable, albeit better protection. Confused

Your, confused

Adam

i'm sort of the same shape, but I just have textiles at the moment.
Same with me though, I have big legs and only a built upper body, but it all ads up to 15-16 stonish

I had the same problems getting leather. Richa do leathers in larger sizes and they fit ok. Quality seems ok but we will see later this year.

www.bikersparadise.co.uk certainly do larger sizes for the ladies, can't say I actually looked at the mens section, but they were the only place I could get leathers to fit the more 'curvy' form.

I'm 5.8.5 and 91kilos! i'm a size 46UK leathers. I tried on a Richa suit and a Spool suit. I found it a bit of a struggle to get the Richa trousers up, however the Spool was a perfect fit!!
Try them!
