Are they just the same grippy crap you put in your toolbox to stop your spanners sliding about? Laughing

Pretty much.

I made my own out of that "grippy crap you put in your toolbox to stop your spanners sliding about" and a staple gun Wink . Works well enough.

The triboseat ones differ in that they have a neat sewn edge but that is about it.

Just ordered one now, will take a pic when it turns up.

I'm also getting the rear seat redone with Gel Pads or whatever they are. Basically rides that are too long aren't nice on an RR. The thing on the back that Honda calls a seat is maybe a bit of a misdescription.

Thanks for the confirmation Donny, will get some so pillions stop saying it's uncomfy, the rear seat is really slippy as I have been pillion on the bike a few years back before I bought it so can understand why they keep stating so.

This was the er5 before we sold it.
Bought the 'anti-slip car-boot' material from Lidl for about £3.99 (it was a few years ago!)
it came in a sheet around a metre square.

Looks 100% identical to the toolbox stuff, I got some for about a quid a metre from my local corner shop. Never thought of using it on a bike seat, I'll give it a go Thumbs Up
