As I would imagine most people know, it was a double rollover last night. The jackpot was somewhere around £14.3 million and two people won it. Now imagine you were one of the two, what would you do with the cash?

I'm not talking what bike would you buy, more what would you do, how would you change your life?

First thing I'd do is throw a party and buy the drinks obviously, secondly I think I would be looking to purchase a nice little ski chalet in the French Alps. I'd like my son to grow up with the chance to breathe some clean air.

First thing I'd is quit my job and spend some time just wallowing in utter laziness pondering what to do with the money. And have a massive party.

A nice, large (ish) place with a good sized garage for lots of toys.
Wink

I'd probably buy a place somewhere like the south of France and do lots of European driving and riding, mainly because their is less traffic over there compared to the packed useless roads in the UK. That's why I did the bike test (well, not the only reason) as I was always envious of the people filtering through the traffic jams on bikes. Okay they're travelling slowly, but they're still travelling while I'm sitting there listening to crap radio stattions.

Sorry, I'll stop ranting.

I'd also treat my girlfriend and spoil her rotten, as I'm a hopeless romantic and she deserves it for putting up with me and my ridiculous seasonal work schedule!

And the round the world trip would be the first thing booked Very Happy

Hmm working on 7 million, I would first invest about 5 million thus setting me up with a basic income.

Then I would sort my mam and dad out, plus my eldest brother etc.

Then I would go very very public that I had won. I would take the time to reply to the begging letters telling them very politely to get jobs and stop bothering me Laughing
Don't think I would quit work straight away as I would just go in and see how much I could get away with before they fired me (almost like I do now). Laughing

Obviously I would buy any toy I wanted and get a nice house (nothing too big, no point) and then generally throw one hell of a party for the bcf once a month. Laughing

I'd be off and away.

Travelling anywhere and everwhere I'd fancy.
Obviously my parents would be in charge of the money, and Dad could finally retire without the stress of having to bail me out everytime I get overdrawn... (thanks Daddy)

Maybe buy a few places in different countries, definately a nice house for Mum and Dad somewhere by the Caledonian canal, or somewhere hotter, and some bases for me.

I'd also be able to afford to do a Masters - YAY! Maybe even try to become a professor, I'd like that Very Happy

I would buy a BIG house with a LAARGE garage and become somewhat of a recluse.

I'd buy one or two (maybe 10 or 20) bikes.

I would hold loads of BCF parties and meets and I would have a drag strip constructed in my garden. (I don't think that £7 million would cover a full racetrack).

I would then just spend all of my time practicing stunting on my runway/dragstrip type affair. Maybe I would go travelling too. I might well become a trackday addict and start racing a bit later as well.

As for begging letters - I would advise them to do what I did to get the money - play the lottery! Laughing

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Quit work. Smile

Be lazy. Spend it on junk. £7,000,000 later I'd go asking for my job back. Sad

However as the lottery is a tax on stupid people I don't buy tickets, so it'll never happen anyway Razz.

I'd definetely go travelling. I'd invest alot of the money for me coming back some day. I wouldn't settle down for years after winning. Always wanted to go travelling but it's money that's the problem. Quite a bit of it will go to my parents and 2 brothers.

You know I've never once played the lottery. Everyone says I should because I always seem to win everything. Could say I'm lucky but I don't believe in stuff like that.

Retire, buy a new house, do the current one up, buy a property somewhere on the Med, see a few people right, have fun!

Firstly I'd throw a nice big party. Then sort out close family and friends with money.

I'd continue with my degree and qualify as a pilot. Then work for a small airline somewhere nice. Smile

Aah the dream...

I would travel for a while. There is a huge world out there to see, but then I would end up back in the UK probably! I would then buy a nice house with lots of gadgets and a selection of motorbikes and cars and hopefully have enough money to live a fairly happy life on. (Although £7million isn't enough to have a completely mad lifestyle!)

Ho hum, back to work...! Crying or Very sad

I spotted exactly what I'd buy today.

The old Hammersmith Fire Station is up for sale - huge old stylee building bang in the middle of the 'smith.

Live up top, run some form of vastly profitable business on the first floor and slide down the pole to play with my toys. Thumbs Up Very Happy

I wouldn't quit work straight away or tell anyone. When I turn up to my parents and work in my new Lamborgini, questions will be asked. Will string them along with everything but the truth, but it would get old quickly i think.

I reckon I'd stay in the UK, but do a lot of travelling, have a large garage - and fill it! Also have a motocross track in the garden. Very Happy

hmm. Money. Shocked

I'd firstly write my name on the back of the winning ticket then hand deliver it to Camelot. After the money arrived I would buy Hi-Level, they need sorting out, they're going proper down hill. Then I'd sort out my family with houses and cars and then myself one. Then probably buy a couple of clubs and/or bars and whack the rest in the bank and then just be spontaneous and do whatever I wanted to do when I felt like it Mr. Green
