I've been looking for a seat cowl for my 05 zx6r and thought I'd get a genuine one from the dealers to ensure a good fit and colour match. How wrong could I be, when I got it home and assembled it following my ikea instructions I removed my seat put the cowl on and to my surprise it didn't fit, the latch wasn't meeting with the lock so I've had to put in washers to space the bracket from the cowl. I know it ain't a massive job to put rite but when its cost me £112 for a bit of plastic I expect it to go on and fit perfect. Are all kawasaki products like this or does this sound like a one off. When I raced motocross I rode kawasaki and never had a problem with quality.
