Hi all ,
Can anyone help with my problem

I have a speedfight 2 56 plate and on the genuine exhaust i have taken off as it has seen better days there is a pipe that fits on to it that is receiving air from somewhere. The new exhaust i have for it does not have this connector on. My question is does anyone know what this air pipe is and what do i do with it.

Many thanks for any help.

it lets air (oxygen) into the exhaust to keep the mixture burning after it has left the engine, and therefore give cleaner emissions, don't worry about it

Hi andy many thanks for the reply , I have been told that it needs to be looped back into the engine to allow for cooling but cannot see this being correct as it only goes into the exhaust as you say, What is the best thing to do with it as it constantly blows air out

Once again many thanks
