I used to have some monster stickers on my lid, which were on for about a month before I took them off.

When I took one of them off, it did take a really small, thin layer of paint off the lid, but it isn't really that noticeable.

This didn't really bother me that much, until I watched the video of that bloke from arai, say how the adhesive glues of stickers can weaken a thermoplastic helmets structure.

Is it still safe to use it, or should I replace it?

I think only you can answer that question.

If it is a polycarbonate or thermoplastic, then yes the adhesive from non factory stickers can affect the structure at the molecular level as it dissolves the plastic.

I had a student once whose whole helmet had been covered in stickers from magazines and what have you, and all that remained were pieces of plastic inside.

He was in affect wearing a helmet made nearly entirely from stickers Shocked

Suffice to say that he was advised to change it before I took him on road.

whether you still feel confident in using this helmet is a decision only you can make though
