They seem to be decently priced these days so looking at buying one. The Contour HD and Drift Stealth are similarly priced, Contour is £139 on Amazon, Drift can be had for around £147 on fleebay. I know people swear by the GoPro but it's a lot more expensive, over £200 from what I've seen, so not really relevant. Leaning towards to the ContourHD at the minute, mainly due to you being able to use old Nokia batteries with it, so £2.70 for an extra battery is very useful. Also is smaller and looks better than the Drift, which is pretty massive looking ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

But the drift can record up to 60FPS in 720p, or 30FPS in 1080p,
you can also get more accessories for it; I.e. external mic, long-life battery, waterproof case & various mounting options.
As well as a rotatable lens, so you can still record upright, even if the Camera isn't!
Its the one I'm slowly but surely saving for. |

Have go pro and go pro hd, like the gopro when mounted to the bike, when its mounted to your helmet i can feel a bit unbalanced. Going to use the GOPRO for some under water shots soon so will see how waterproof it actually is. ____________________ Current: 2019 Yamaha T7 -> 2015 KTM Superduke R | 2000 Yamaha R1 Past -> 2009 KTM 990 SM -> 2005 kawasaki ZX10r -> 2000 Honda CBR 600 FY -> 2002 Honda XLV 125 Varadero

Well aware GoPro's are the boyo's of helmet cams, but they cost about £100 more than the 2 cameras I'm looking at, so it's understandable ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

I use a Bullet HD as my helmet mounted camera
https://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/dogcam-bullet-hd-camera.html
https://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/images/Ahighslides/dogcam-bullet-hd/in-mount.jpg
Using it on a daily basis for commuting, and rideouts etc it's produced good quality vids, been very easy to use, reliable, with lots of included mounting options, and with great customer support from DCS
The waterproof cover included with the unit has also proved invaluable when riding in the frequent downpours during my daily commute
...and no I'm not earning commission from DCS lol ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
