so ive been riding at night a lot more recently now im confident. thing is, my lights are terrible ! so i figured i need to change the bulb for something a little brighter. ive been looking, and these xenon lights seem to come with their own ring where the bulb should fit into. is it easy enough to put this in and take the old one out? or do i need a different fitting or something?

ive read the numbers on the side of the bulb, if they help anybody to help me:
T218
S237R
E7
01835

its a 12v 35/35 bulb as well.

i would be very great-full for some help, as i am completely stuck for ideas, and also the low beam setting has just broken :/ so a new bulb is needed quickly.
cheers, peter

1. Look at bulb
2. Look at eBay bulbs
3. Compare fitment and/or message seller about what fitting they have. If needs be take a picture of yours and ask if you can e-mail it to them so they can advise you about what will fit.
4. Buy advised bulb and wait for delivery.
5. Remove old bulb and put new one in exactly the same way
6. Enjoy your new night riding experience Thumbs Up Cool

I have ordered a new bulb Smile
Do you think it is worth getting an HID conversion kit?
because I'd quite like to travel a bit more long distances, long days etc.. would an HID kit be good enough for the job and will they fit any bike or do i need to modify my light at all? somebody on here found me a kit for only 30 quid, which looked pretty good to me.
any ideas people?

cheers, peter

How about just buy a Halogen bulb (they call them xenon on eBay)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=35%2F35+xenon+headlight+bulb&_sacat=0&_dmpt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&_odkw=hid+kit&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

Sorry for the long link Thumbs Up
